The Performer...
Kalen was born and raised in Waiphau, Hawaii. There he started his training at 24-VII Danceforce Studio at the age of 18. Since his move to California he has been training in Jazz, Jazz-Funk, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, Hip-Hop, and Tap along with focusing on his Vocal, Acting, Tumbling, and Ariel skills. You can see Kalen perform locally and intentionally on stage, television, and on film.

At a young age Kalen has been visually creative. It wasn't till he was introduced to dancing that he wanted to become a choreographer. His artistic views and design concepts out side of dance helped him create visions through movement.

The Teacher...
Kalen teaches a variety of styles at many different levels. His classes focus on proper warm-up techniques for strengthening and injury prevention with a strong emphasis in style and performance. Some of his favorite styles include Jazz-Funk and Lyrical dancing.
